Meet Katie
Hi! My name is Katie, welcome to my site. I am an FEI Dressage competitor offering training and instruction in Lee's Summit, Missouri. I have a heart for developing dressage horses and have dedicated my life to it.
I am a USDF Bronze, Silver and Gold Medalist who has spent many years working with some of the top names in the sport. I have a passion for continuing my own education. I love young horses and have had a tremendous amount of experience backing youngsters and bringing them up the levels.
I also enjoy using horses to help people and work part-time doing trauma-focused equine-assisted psychotherapy. I have recently completed my MSW, and am working on hours for my clinical license. I am working on becoming a Natural Lifemanship certified instructor and also work for HorsePower Experiential Learning.
Through my experience in both riding and clinical work I have a unique understanding of how to help people reach their goals in a kind and fun atmosphere. Please reach out with any questions and me know how I can serve you!
